Peals including local ringers

There have been 36 peals rung since 1969 which included at least one ringer who was a member of the Pattingham band at the time. The first peal by an all Pattingham band was in 1974, the first on eight (of triples) was in 1980 and the first of major in 1982. Two more peals by an all Pattingam band have been rung since. There have been two peals which included seven local ringers and three which included four local ringers.

This page includes all 36 of these peals. Those who were Pattingham ringers at the time are shown thus.

All except two (6 May 1972 and 7 November 2015) were rung for the same Society, which has changed its name twice. It was originally “The Society of Change Ringers for the Archdeaconry of Stafford”. In 1981, when the name of the Archdeaconry changed, it became “The Lichfield Archdeaconry Society of Change Ringers”. In 1997 the archdeaconry was split in two and so the society became “The Lichfield and Walsall Archdeaconries Society of Change Ringers”.
