In December 2007 the church held a Festival of Christmas Trees. Over 30 trees were in the church and they were all decorated by various groups and individuals.
One of the trees was decorated by the bellringers. Pictures of all the trees and more details can be found on the Church website

It was voted the 8th most popular tree by visitors.

Ding Dong Merrily Chimes
A set of chimes was hung from the tree. They were numbered and when struck in order played " Ding Dong Merrily on High". Many visitors found this interactive feature intriguing.

Christmas tree undecorators
At the end of the festival the decorations had to be taken off the tree and returned to their rightful owners. This was done by Norman Bramall, Stephen Dann and Tony Jackson.
The clapper of the tenor had broken a few weeks before the festival and these three became very adept at taking the clapper out and putting it back into the bell when it had been repaired.
