The Brasses
A commemmorative brass is produced each year with the design being changed each year. A brass is given to each successful runner and also to those who assist with the run.
Brasses from each of the previous years are displayed in the Ringing Chamber of the church, attached to a wheel which used to be on one of the bells until it was broken.
These pictures show the brasses on martingales attached to that wheel. Martingales are not given to the runners but can be purchased.
